Shipping: All orders are shipped UPS or truck when the gross weight of your order makes the use of a common carrier more economical. UPS Next Day Air, Second Day Air or airfreight services are available to expedite rush orders. These special services will incur additional costs. When an order is shipped by truck, our shipping department negotiates with a number of trucking companies to ensure the most competitive freight rates available. Should you wish to have us use a specific trucking company, please let your account representative know at the time you place your order. Please be aware that specifying your own freight carrier may result in higher shipping costs to you.
Returns: In the event that you are dissatisfied with anything you purchase from us, excluding special orders, simply return the item for a full credit, replacement or refund within 30 days of receipt! There’s no hassle, no “third degree”, no worrying about getting a credit. All delivery and return cost associated with a return is the customer’s responsibility. However, in order for us to receive credit from our vendors, we must have all such items returned within 30 days of purchase. When returning equipment, items must be in new condition and returned in their original packaging. New equipment should be tested for a few minutes in a controlled environment before normal use. Ice Melt Freight Policy Pricing: First Pallet is $29.90 Each additional Pallet is only $10.00 each. Hand delivery to multiple locations (condo complex door steps) is an additional .25c each unit. There will be a split trailer fee of $175.00 whenever a trailer load is ordered and there are 2 separate drop sites. We have instituted a special handling fee, special handling includes non pallet (individual bag) delivery to multiple locations, inside delivery, and distant access delivery and will include an additional $1 per unit charge.
Hazardous Material Policy: U.P.S. classifies some types of chemicals as “hazardous” for shipping purposes. U.P.S. charges an additional $20.00 per package (ground) or $30.00 per package (air) for these items (subject to change without notice). The quantities we can ship vary according to product. Therefore, if you use such an item regularly it makes sense to order the maximum per package to avoid additional hazardous charges. Please note that certain hazardous items may not be shipped Next Day or Second Day Air, or may be shipped in limited quantities. Truck lines classify items the same way U.P.S. does and generally apply such surcharges. On the free freight orders, the hazardous fee will still be collected. DSC Policy: $9.90 per invoice – A Distribution Service Charge of $9.90 is a small percentage of the following cost incurred by LMS to process an deliver orders to our clients in a timely manner. We feel that by standardizing and offering an extremely low DSC per invoice we are offering a very reasonable overall cost of business.
